Flooding is one of the hydrometeorological disasters that frequently occurs in Indonesia and causes various impacts on communities, including social, economic, and environmental aspects. One of the affected areas is Kampung Babo, Bandar Pusaka District, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The disaster disrupted community activities and created urgent needs such as food, basic supplies, and other logistical necessities. This community service activity aims to help meet the basic needs of flood- affected communities through the distribution of logistical aid while also providing social support to local residents. The implementation method used a humanitarian and participatory approach, including donation collection, aid preparation, and direct distribution to affected communities. The activity was conducted on December 29, 2025, involving a service team and volunteers from Medan City. The assistance provided included mats, snacks, and ready-to-eat meals that could be immediately utilized by the community.The results indicate that the assistance helped alleviate the burden of meeting basic needs during the post-disaster recovery period. In addition, social activities such as interaction and playing with children provided psychosocial support to the affected community. Overall, this community service activity made a positive contribution to supporting flood-affected communities and strengthening social solidarity in disaster management.

Health is an essential aspect in improving the quality of life of the community. However, the low level of public awareness regarding routine health check-ups remains a major issue. This community service activity aims to enhance health awareness through a church-based Free Health Check Program. The activity was conducted on February 1st at GKPI Church on Kapuas Street, Medan Sunggal, involving approximately 100 participants consisting of church members and the surrounding community.The method used was a descriptive approach, with health examinations including blood pressure, blood sugar, uric acid, and cholesterol checks, as well as the provision of health education. The results of the activity indicated that several participants had health conditions outside normal limits, such as high blood pressure, elevated blood sugar levels, as well as increased cholesterol and uric acid levels. In addition, the activity also improved the knowledge and awareness of the community regarding the importance of early disease detection and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle.Thus, the church-based free health check program has proven to be effective as a social innovation in increasing public health awareness. This activity is expected to be carried out sustainably as a promotive and preventive effort to improve the overall health status of the community

Flood disasters in Aceh Tamiang Regency, particularly in Sapta Marga Village, have disrupted children's educational activities due to limited learning facilities and declining household economic conditions. This situation hinders the learning process and may lead to educational disparities. This community service aims to strengthen post-flood emergency education through the provision of textbooks and stationery, as well as learning assistance to support socio-economic stability within the community. The method used is a participatory approach based on community empowerment, consisting of needs assessment, program planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. The main activities include the distribution of educational materials and learning assistance for children affected by the flood.The results indicate that the program improves students’ motivation, participation, and self-confidence. In addition, the provision of learning materials helps reduce household expenses, thereby contributing to economic stability. In conclusion, strengthening emergency education through the provision of learning facilities and educational assistance is an effective strategy to support educational recovery while maintaining socio-economic stability in post-flood communities

BUMBU MIE ACEH HERITAGE: INOVASI KEMASAN DAN DIGITAL MARKETING UNTUK REVITALISASI KULINER TRADISIONAL ACEH BERBASIS PEMBERDAYAAN UMKM

Aceh has a rich culinary heritage, one of which is Mie Aceh, known for its strong and distinctive spice flavors. However, spice products produced by SMEs, such as the “Cek Din” Spice Milling business in Langsa City, are still sold in bulk without proper packaging and branding, resulting in low added value and competitiveness. This study aims to develop Mie Aceh spice products into more practical, hygienic, and high-value products through innovation in product formulation, packaging, and digital marketing.The methods used include developing product formulations (dry and wet spices), standardizing production processes, innovating modern packaging, and implementing digital-based marketing strategies. The activities were carried out collaboratively between students and SME partners.The results show that these innovations improve product shelf life, expand market reach, and increase economic value. In addition, branding and digital marketing strategies have proven effective in attracting modern consumers.In conclusion, the development of Bumbu Mie Aceh Heritage is economically feasible and has strong potential as a flagship product that not only increases SME income but also contributes to the sustainable preservation of Aceh’s culinary heritage

PERAN BANTUAN KEMANUSIAAN DALAM PEMULIHAN EKONOMI MASYARAKAT PASCABENCANA BANJIR DI KAMPUNG KOTA LINTANG BAWAH, KABUPATEN ACEH TAMIANG

Flooding is one of the hydrometeorological disasters that frequently occurs in Indonesia and causes various social and economic impacts on affected communities. One of the areas impacted by flooding is Kampung Kota Lintang Bawah, Aceh Tamiang Regency. Although conditions in the area have begun to improve, the community still faces various challenges in the post-disaster recovery process.This community service activity aims to help alleviate the burden of affected residents through the distribution of humanitarian aid in the form of meals for breaking the fast (iftar) to the local community. The implementation method consisted of online donation collection through social media, preparation of aid, and direct distribution to affected residents.This activity was carried out on February 26, 2026, involving five volunteers who participated in the distribution process. The total donations collected amounted to IDR 4,630,000, which were then used to provide iftar meals for the affected community.The results of the activity indicate that the assistance provided was able to help the community meet their needs for breaking the fast and offered social support during the post-disaster recovery process. Overall, this community service activity had a positive impact on the community and strengthened both economic resilience and social solidarity in supporting disaster-affected populations.

PENGUATAN KETAHANAN SOSIAL MASYARAKAT PASCABANJIR MELALUI DAPUR SIAGA BENCANA BERSAMA

Bencana banjir ekstrem yang melanda Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang pada penghujung Desember 2025 menimbulkan dampak multidimensional terhadap kehidupan masyarakat, terutama pada hilangnya fungsi hidup dasar seperti sarana memasak rumah tangga. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan masyarakat terdampak bergantung pada bantuan makanan siap saji dan mengalami tekanan psikososial akibat terputusnya rutinitas kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memulihkan fungsi hidup dasar masyarakat melalui program Penyediaan Dapur Siaga Bencana Bersama berbasis pemberdayaan komunitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan observasi, pemetaan permasalahan, diskusi dengan masyarakat, serta implementasi program melalui pembangunan dapur bersama dan penyaluran bantuan sembako serta peralatan dapur. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penyediaan Dapur Siaga Bencana mampu membantu masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan secara mandiri, mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap bantuan konsumtif, serta meningkatkan solidaritas sosial dan ketahanan psikososial masyarakat pascabencana. Selain itu, keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan ini berperan sebagai agen perubahan sosial yang mendukung proses pemulihan komunitas. Program ini juga memiliki potensi keberlanjutan karena dapur bersama dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan sosial masyarakat di masa mendatang. Dengan demikian, Dapur Siaga Bencana Bersama dapat menjadi model intervensi tanggap darurat berbasis pemberdayaan yang aplikatif dan dapat direplikasi pada wilayah rawan bencana lainnya.
