Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes in a comparison of two different quantities in class V elementary schools. The research design used was Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were all students of class V SD Gugus II Bungaasang. Sampling was done by using purposive sampling technique, which then obtained class VA as the experimental class and class VB as the control class. Based on the calculation of the data analysis results of the t-test with a significant level of 0.05, it was obtained that t count was 2.27 and t table was 1.68195. So that t count is greater than t table (2.27> 1.68195). Thus, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted, that is, there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning model on learning outcomes on the comparison of two different quantities in class V SD Gugus II Bungaasang.
