ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI PROVINSI ACEH SEBELUM DAN PADA SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

Economic growth is the continuous process of improvement in the economic conditions of a country over a certain period. Indonesia's economic growth is significantly influenced by diplomatic relations and global flows among nations. When one country faces a crisis, its repercussions are felt by others. At the end of 2019, the world was shaken by the emergence of the COVID-19 virus from Wuhan, China. The COVID-19 pandemic has had widespread effects on various sectors, including hindering economic growth in many countries. Its impact has also been felt in Indonesia, particularly in the province of Aceh. The objective of this study is to compare the economic growth in Aceh province before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method employed is the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, used to test means non-parametrically for either one population or two paired datasets. Upon testing, the research findings indicate a significant difference in economic growth in Aceh province before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
