Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran penting elektronika daya dalam desain dan implementasi sistem energi terbarukan dari bahan alami di wilayah Papua, Indonesia. Penelitian ini memberikan latar belakang komprehensif mengenai tantangan energi yang dihadapi masyarakat pedesaan di Papua, diikuti dengan tinjauan literatur menyeluruh mengenai kemajuan terkini dalam elektronika daya untuk penerapan energi terbarukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan elektrtonika daya dalam merancang sumber energi terbarukan dari beberapa sumber literatur yang telah dikaji. Studi ini menyelidiki kesesuaian dan kinerja konverter elektronika daya dan strategi pengendalian dalam memanfaatkan energi dari sumber daya alam lokal, seperti biomassa, tenaga air, dan fotovoltaik surya. Temuan ini menunjukkan dampak signifikan elektronika daya dalam mengoptimalkan efisiensi, keandalan, dan integrasi sistem energi terbarukan, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi terhadap pembangunan berkelanjutan di komunitas off-grid dan terpencil di Papua. Artikel ini diakhiri dengan rekomendasi untuk penelitian di masa depan dan inisiatif kebijakan untuk lebih memanfaatkan potensi elektronika daya dalam merancang dan menerapkan solusi energi terbarukan yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan dan sumber daya unik di wilayah Papua.
