ANALISIS PENGARUH VARIASI HAMBATAN TERHADAP DISTRIBUSI ARUS PADA RANGKAIAN PARALEL
Abstract
A parallel circuit is a fundamental configuration in electrical and electronic systems, characterized by the division of current among its various branches. The magnitude of the current flowing through each branch is determined by the load resistance and the source voltage. This study aims to analyze the effect of varying resistance values on current distribution within a parallel circuit. A simulation-based approach was employed, utilizing a parallel circuit configuration consisting of multiple resistive load branches. The testing involved ten variations of resistance values to observe changes in current characteristics across each branch. Analysis was conducted based on the relationship between voltage, resistance, and current—applying Ohm's Law—as well as the principle of current summation according to Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL). Preliminary results indicate that changes in resistance values influence current characteristics in each branch; branches with lower resistance tend to carry higher currents, whereas increased resistance results in reduced current flow. These dynamics are also clearly evident in the changes in load characteristics observed across various test scenarios. The study demonstrates that resistance variation is a crucial parameter in determining current distribution in parallel circuits. These findings are expected to contribute to the study of electrical circuit analysis and the development of simulation methods for evaluating circuit characteristics.
