The use of the name "Samudra Geografi" in this journal is inspired by the very broad of geography studies. Jurnal Samudra Geografi published by Geography Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Samudra.</p> <p>Jurnal Samudra Geografi aims to publish contemporary research results in geography education, i.e. application of 21st century learning theory, namely approaches that promote 21st century skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and creative thinking in the context of learning geography. This journal also seeks to integrate TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) in learning design, combining in-depth understanding of geography material, effective learning strategies, and appropriate use of technology. A student-centred learning approach is the main focus, with an emphasis on students' active participation, self-discovery, and engagement in authentic and real-world geography practices. </p> <p>Jurnal Samudra Geografi also publishes research in the field of contemporary geography referring to the study of geographical phenomena that are actual and relevant to current social, economic, political and environmental conditions. In the context of geography education, contemporary research aims to bridge the gap between traditional geography knowledge and the changes and challenges faced by today's global society. Scientific journals that publish the results of this research enable the development of learning practices that are responsive to contextual changes and current issues, so that students can understand and critically examine actual geographic issues in global and local contexts. Over time, the Government issued Permendagri Regulation No. 45 of 2016 which contains Guidelines for Confirming Regional Boundaries. The research location is on the boundary segment between Kediri Regency and Kediri City. The research objective is to analyze the spatial/geometric quality of boundary segment delineation in Kediri City and the government's efforts to minimize potential conflicts between Kediri City and the Kediri Regency. The method used in this research is geospatial analysis. The research results show that there are differences territory boundaries between the 2022 Boundary Agreement Result Map and the 2019 Regional Administration Map. The difference in delineation forms an agreed area with a total of 67.2 Ha. The method used in this study is qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The stages of the research carried out were (1) Primary and secondary data collection, (2) Data analysis, and (3) the final stage, which included map processing and plane repositioning using AutoCAD. The landslide that occurred in Pesisir Barat Regency not only claimed lives but damaged residents' settlements and the Sumatra highway was cut off. Mitigation or preparedness to face landslides based on this community needs to be socialized, one of which is the existence of local wisdom that has been carried out by the community for generations one of them namely resin repong. Mitigation is carried out to minimize the impact of damage caused by landslides which have potential hazards, both structurally and non-structurally. The analytical method used is spatial analysis method, analysis using data interpreted in the form of maps. This type of research is qualitative research with a spatial approach. The research subjects were people who rebuild in the red zone area. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that: (1) Community experience, almost all respondents have quite a lot of experience in tsunami-prone areas, (2) Community knowledge is obtained by respondents already having sufficient knowledge about the tsunami hazard, but the community still lacks understanding regarding what types of buildings can reduce the impact of the tsunami disaster, (3) The orientation of living or the point of view of the people who still live in the red zone area shows that the community still inhabits or returns to settle in the red zone area for different reasons where the area they currently live in is where they work to earn a living, moving they can't find their jobs that they have been working on for a long time, as for another reason people still occupy the red zone because the land they live in is currently a loss to leave..</span></em></p> Anisa Wulandari Iwan Alim Saputra Exsa Putra Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Samudra Geografi 2023-06-30 2023-06-30 6 2 99 104 10.33059/jsg.v6i2.8106 READINESS IN MANAGEMENT OF PRIME TOURISM DESTINATION IN HALAL TOURISM PROGRAM BANDA ACEH CITY https://ejurnalunsam.id/index.php/jsg/article/view/7978 <p>The purpose of this study was to determine government support for the readiness of managing halal tourism objects (halal tourism) and to determine the readiness of destinations for the management of halal tourism objects (halal tourism) in the City of Banda Aceh. The method used is a qualitative method. The research location was carried out at the Baiturrahman Great Mosque, the Syiah Kuala tomb, the boat above the house, the tsunami museum and the PLTD Apung. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, the informants in this study were the Banda Aceh City tourism office and the manager of the leading tourist objects of Banda Aceh City. The analysis technique uses basic triangulation. The results of the research seen from the aspect of government support show that the management of leading tourist objects is still not ready to implement the halal tourism program in Banda Aceh City. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research. The research method in this study uses the method of directly carrying out the observation process which is followed by the research process Literature study which is a data collection method directed at searching data and information through documents, both written documents, photographs, pictures, and electronic documents that are can support in the writing process. Sources of data in this study are through literature, observation, photos, and others. The data analysis technique used in this study is through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on research that has been carried out by several mangrove conservation efforts in Muara Indah Beach, in the District of Pantai Labu, Kab. Deli Serdang is a mangrove nursery, the nursery is carried out to overcome damage to mangrove forests due to abrasion and also deforestation of mangrove forests for land conversion. The existence of the Trans Koetaradja Bus in Banda Aceh aims to facilitate community mobilisation in Banda Aceh and its surroundings by measuring the elements of public transport service quality which include: safety, comfort, convenience, reliability, price comparison and efficiency as well as observations using indicators of urban transport services, which include: travel time, walking distance to the shelter, number of changes, bus travel time, bus travel speed and travel cost. Research Objectives 1) To determine the perception of Trans Koetaradja bus service users on the quality of public transport services in Banda Aceh; 2) To find out the quality of Trans Koetaradja bus service in accordance with urban transport service standards. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The study population were service users from the six corridors of Trans Koetaradja route in Banda Aceh, a total of 50 respondents. Data collection techniques in research using questionnaires and observation sheets with data processing techniques using statistical formulas. Based on the results of research and data processing by looking at the responses, most respondents stated that they strongly agreed 48% (24 people), agreed 42% (21 people), disagreed 8% (4 people) and strongly disagreed 2% (1 person) and based on the observation results stated that the Trans Koetaradja bus met the public transport service standards, although there were two criteria that were still not optimal, namely the waiting time criteria and the bus speed criteria. Both criteria are still inefficient because the Trans Koetaradja bus travel time was delayed due to the lack of a dedicated lane.</em></p> Miftahul Husna Daska Azis M. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Collecting data using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that (1) the form of local wisdom possessed by the Tajio Tribe is the tula bala tradition which contains the spirit of mutual cooperation and the vunja customary tradition as a form of gratitude for the abundant harvest. (2) The forms of disaster mitigation for the people of Kaliburu Kata Village are by looking at the signs given by nature through several animals such as forest birds, chickens, cats, and keke-keke birds. (3) The Tajio Tribe Community plays a very important role in maintaining the local wisdom based on disaster mitigation that they have and is responsible for maintaining the applicable rules and norms. The ability to handle from emergency response to recovery requires knowledge related to the disaster itself. Nowadays, it is realized that the process of building disaster-related knowledge is carried out through education. Through education on cognitive aspects and skills in evaluating disaster risk, increasing preparedness and reducing vulnerability to disasters is developed. Literacy demands and teaching materials about disasters are a priority in providing understanding and fostering understanding about disasters. Geography learning studies natural phenomena that influence humans. So that in learning geography students are faced with real problems and solutions. The development of the current independent curriculum can be an alternative to address these challenges. This is because the independent curriculum presents a variety of intra-curricular learning so that it will be more optimal to provide understanding and strengthen competence. In addition, in the independent curriculum there is flexibility to choose learning tools according to interests and needs. The method used in this writing is a literature review of various literature collected then analyzed and conclusions drawn. The island and sea areas are divided into 34 Provinces entitled to it in accordance with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government.&nbsp; This article was created to review the designation of maritime areas between regions in Indonesia based on Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Government. This article was created through a literature study with a time span from 2011 to 2020 and in Indonesian using Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, and Mendeley.
