This journal also seeks to integrate TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) in learning design, combining in-depth understanding of geography material, effective learning strategies, and appropriate use of technology. A student-centred learning approach is the main focus, with an emphasis on students' active participation, self-discovery, and engagement in authentic and real-world geography practices.

Jurnal Samudra Geografi also publishes research in the field of contemporary geography referring to the study of geographical phenomena that are actual and relevant to current social, economic, political and environmental conditions. In the context of geography education, contemporary research aims to bridge the gap between traditional geography knowledge and the changes and challenges faced by today's global society. Scientific journals that publish the results of this research enable the development of learning practices that are responsive to contextual changes and current issues, so that students can understand and critically examine actual geographic issues in global and local contexts. Thus, research in the field of contemporary geography enriches the understanding and approaches to learning geography needed to face the demands of the 21st century.
en-US[email protected] (Faiz Urfan, S.Pd., M.Pd.)[email protected] (Ayu Suciani, S.Pd., M.Pd.)Sun, 30 Jun 2024 00:00:00 +0000OJS 3.1.2.0http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss60ANALYSIS OF ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS OF THE COMMUNITY OF MATANG TEUNGOH VILLAGE, COT GIREK DISTRICT, NORTH ACEH

https://ejurnalunsam.id/index.php/jsg/article/view/10876

This research aims to analyze the distribution of businesses and business turnover around the Samudra University campus area. This research uses a quantitative approach with spatial analysis techniques. The data collected in this research is the type of business and business turnover according to day and time. The data analysis technique used is Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW). This analysis is used to map the distribution of business turnover using the Quantum GIS (QGIS) application version 3.34. The results of this research are in the form of geospatial information about the distribution of business turnover. There are differences in turnover between one business and another. Businesses with the highest turnover are in areas far from campus. Meanwhile, businesses located near campus have lower turnover. This is caused by the activities of students who move to campus to eat breakfast or lunch. Apart from that, good road conditions mean that areas far from campus are traversed by many people. Therefore, researchers recommend building good roads around the UNSAM campus area for more equitable economic development.
Yadi Hafidz, Faiz Urfan
