Abstract

The research aim was evaluated market chain and market structure of Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) smallholder palm oil in Langsa. Research methode was survey, with 50 sampels, while the market chain using snowball sampling. The result were two market chain of Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) smallholder palm oil in Langsa, that is a) smallholder à agent à factory, b) smallholder à factory. Smallholder which sell TBS to factory is a agent. Market structure  which formed was oligopsoni market, so unefficient.
