Abstract
This paper aims to explain the possibility and situation of food sovereignty in Indonesia, especially the people living around and in forest areas amidst the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this literature review is to analyze food sovereignty with the support of agroforestry as food production. Given the fact that the impact of the pandemic has resulted in shocks in the form of food insecurity. Therefore, with the food sovereignty program, it is very important to ensure a food system, adequate food access and sustainable use of food. Agroforestry support in food production is very decisive, especially in social forestry programs, one of which is through increasing food productivity from the forest area of one unit. This paper recommends that the availability of food from the forest is very diverse, and needs to be identified as a contribution to the welfare of the (local) community. Social adoptability is the key to developing food products on Social Forestry lands. Interventions can be made to improve the quality of management, processing and marketing.
