Dari Syura Ke Monarki: Perubahan Sistem Pemerintahan Dalam Sejarah Politik Islam Klasik
Abstract
Artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam sejarah politik Islam klasik terdapat perubahan makanisme politik dari metode musyawarah ke monarki. Hal ini berdasarkan temuan bahwa sejarah praksis politik Islam masa kenabian dan khulafaurrasyidin cenderung bersifat musyawarah, sementara praksis politik setelahnya lebih ditentukan oleh kekuasaan seorang khalifah. Tesis tersebut juga didasarkan pada data sumber-sumber sejarah politik Islam klasik yang dianalisis dengan metode kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan sejarah politik. Tesis tersebut dengan demikian menolak pandangan bahwa politik Islam klasik bersifat sakral, bukan profan. Meski begitu, diperlukan kajian lebih kritis dan rinci terhadap sejarah praksis politik klasik guna meninjau kembali tesis artikel ini.
