Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

  1. Use the Journal of Basic Education Studies guide as template.
  2. The manuscript must be original and has never been published elsewhere.
  3. Papers should be clear, precise and logical and the length of the manuscript is approximately 8-12 pages.
  4. The manuscript comprises five main headings: Pendahuluan (Introduction); Metode Penelitian (Research Method); Hasil dan Pembahasan (Findings and Discussion); Simpulan (Conclusions); Daftar Rujukan (References).
  5. The title of the manuscript is written in the Indonesian language (Capitalize Each Word), font: Cambria – 16 bold, center, must be as brief as possible, and must represent the content of the manuscript, concise and informative, unambiguous and attract readers.
  6. The Abstract written in Indonesian and English using arial letters size 10, space 1 and with a text length between 100-150 words. For articles in English, Indonesian abstracts do not need to be included. The Indonesian version of the abstract is written using standard Indonesian with improved spelling. Writing abbreviations and mathematical formulas in abstracts needs to be avoided. Abstract briefly describes the problem, objectives, methods, outcomes and conclusions.
  7. The keyword list provides the opportunity to add keywords, used by the indexing and abstracting services, in addition to those already present in the title. Judicious use of keywords may increase the ease with which interested parties can locate our article (maximal 5 words).
  8. The Introduction should provide a clear background, a clear statement of the problem, the relevant literature on the subject, the proposed approach or solution, and the new value of research which it is innovation. It should be understandable to colleagues from a broad range of scientific disciplines.
  9. Explaining research chronological, including research design and research procedure. The description of the course of research should be supported references, so the explanation can be accepted scientifically.
  10. Tables and Figures are presented center.
  11. In the results and discussion section should be explained the results and at the same time is given the comprehensive discussion.
  12. A good conclusion should provide a statement that what is expected, as stated in the "Introduction" section can ultimately result in "Results and Discussion" section, so there is compatibility. Moreover, it can also be added the prospect of the development of research results and application prospects of further studies into the next (based on the results and discussion).
  13. References should be cited in text. Reference list in the form of accredited national journal articles, internationally reputable, and non-journals published in the last 5-10 years. The minimum number of references is 25 pieces.
  14. All correspondences, information, and decisions for the submitted manuscripts are conducted through email written in the manuscript and/or the emails used for the submission. The status of the manuscript can be checked in the OJS by logging in to the journal.
