Penerapan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Ipas Di Kelas IV SD Negeri 08 Kubu Tanjung Kota Bukittinggi

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low student outcomes. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in science subjects by using the Jigsaw-type Cooperative Learning model in grade IV of SD Negeri 08 Kubu Tanjung. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK) that uses a qualitative and quantitative approach and is carried out in two cycles, cycle I consists of 2x meetings and cycle II consists of 1x meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results of the study showed an increase, in the first cycle starting with the results of the analysis of the preparation: a) The teaching module showed an average of 85.4% (B) and the second cycle to 92% (SB), b) The implementation of the teacher aspect of the first cycle averaged 83.94% (B) and the second cycle was 96.42% (SB), while the implementation of the student aspect of the first cycle averaged 82.14% (B), and the second cycle became 92.18% (SB),  c) The assessment of students in the first cycle was obtained on average 70.5% (C) and the second cycle averaged 88.18% (B). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the jigsaw  model can improve students' learning outcomes in science and science learning
