Implementasi dan Tantangan Pendidikan Sebagai Proses Humanisasi di Tingkat Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

This study examines the implementation and challenges of humanistic education in elementary schools as a humanization process. Through a literature review, it was found that the humanistic approach has been applied through student-centered learning, emotional intelligence development, and holistic assessment. However, this implementation faces various challenges, including resistance to change, rigid curriculum, socio-economic disparities, and limited resources. To address these challenges, a comprehensive approach is needed, including continuous teacher training, curriculum reform, increased parent and community involvement, and better resource allocation. The study concludes that while the implementation of humanistic education shows positive developments, sustained efforts are needed to overcome existing challenges to achieve holistic and student-centered educational goals.
