Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Tipe Write Around Di Kelas IV SDN 10 WedyaAia Tabik Kabupaten Agam

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact in elementary schools that integrated thematic learning in Class IV SDN 10 Wedya Aia Tabik has not yet developed an Innovative learning model, there is still a separation between learning content, students' critical thinking skills have not been seen, students have not been able to appreciate the opinions of their friends, student learning outcomes are still low. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using the Write Around Cooperative type in the fourth grade of SDN 10 Wedya Aia Tabik.This type of research is Classroom Action Research and uses qualitative and quantitative approaches as well as technical data collection, namely document analysis, observation and tests. The research subjects were teachers and fourth grade students with 13 students, 6 girls and 7 boys. researchers act as practitioners and classroom teachers as observers. The research was carried out in two cycles. Cycle I had two meetings and cycle II had one meeting. The research consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting activities.The results showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II, learning planning obtained an average of 82.95% (B) to 93.18% (A), teacher activity from 80.55% (B) to 95.45% ( A), student activities from 80.55% (B) to 95.45% (A), and the average student learning outcomes in the knowledge aspect are 73 to 90.1, and in the skills aspect an average of 75.225 to 87.15. Thus classroom action research with the Cooperative Type Write Around model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class IV SDN 10 Wedya Aia Tabik.
