Abstract

Language ability is one of the important abilities that must be possessed, especially for elementary school children, because it plays a role in the ability to understand material, the ability to think, and interact with the social environment. This research aims to analyze the influence of language development on elementary school students' learning motivation. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, which examines nine relevant scientific articles published in 2020-2024. The research results show that language skills, especially oral and written skills, make a positive contribution to students' learning motivation. Various learning models such as Project Based Learning, Problem Based Learning, and various media such as picture media, posters, and creative notes (Happy Notes), have been proven to increase students' interest, creativity, activeness, and self-confidence in learning in class. Thus, it can be concluded that this approach to students' language development can be a good strategy in increasing students' learning motivation in the classroom. This research also recommends that a good approach to developing students' language skills can create a communicative, motivating and participatory learning environment.
