Analisis Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa pada Materi Skala Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Langsa Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' understanding of mathematical concepts on scale material. The subjects in this study were 22 students in grade V of SD Negeri 2 Langsa. Data collection techniques used in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed the indicator restated a concept only 10 subjects were declared capable. Indicators developing the necessary requirements / sufficient requirements of a concept only 13 subjects were stated capable. Indicators of using, utilizing, and choosing certain procedures or operations only 9 subjects were declared capable. Indicators apply the concept or algorithm in problem solving to only 6 subjects declared capable. This research is expected for educators to change the way of learning or be able to use learning media that suits the needs of students in order to achieve a predetermined learning goal.
