Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of integrated thematic learning outcomes using a scientific approach in class II SDN 11 Koto Marapak Kota Pariaman. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I meeting I 72.22% (C), teacher aspects of cycle I meeting I 75.00% (C), student aspects of cycle I meeting I 75.00% (C), learning outcomes of the first cycle meeting I in 71.63% (C), b) RPP cycle I meeting II 83.33% (B), teacher aspects of cycle I meeting II 83.33% (B), aspects of students in cycle I meeting II 83.33% (B), learning outcomes of cycle I meeting II 79.55 % (B), c) RPP cycle II meeting I 91.67% (SB), teacher aspects in cycle II meeting I 95.83% (SB), aspects of students in cycle II meeting I 95.83% (SB), learning outcomes cycle II meeting I 89.42% (SB). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of a scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes.
