Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Active Learning strategy type Index Card Match to improve the integrated thematic learning process for class V in SD. This research is a classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects in this study were class teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and 10 grade V students of SDN 10 Koto Jua. The results of this study are: (1) The percentage of RPP assessments has increased from 86.11% to 94.44% in cycle II. (2) The percentage of teacher and student aspect observation assessments in the first cycle was 80.35% (B) and increased to 96.42% (SB) in the second cycle. (3) The learning outcomes in the first cycle were 75.33 (B) increased to 87.82 (SB) in the second cycle. Thus the Active Learning strategy type Index Card Match can improve the learning process at SD Negeri 10 Koto Jua, Pesisir Selatan Regency.
