Peningkatan Hasil Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Tipe Talking Stick Di Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

This research aims to find out the results of integrated thematic learning of the Grade IV students at elementary schools using Cooperative Learning with Talking Stick Type. This is a classroom action research with two cycles using qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the lesson plan (RPP) observation in the first cycle obtained 81.95% that is categorized as good. In the second cycle the results improved significantly to 94.44% which is categorized as excellent. The results of the observation on the teacher in the first cycle are 80.56% which are categorized as good; and in the second cycle are 91.67% categorized as excellent results. The results of the observation on the students’ average knowledge and skill in the first cycle are 80.56 categorized as good. In the second cycle the results improved significantly to 91.67 which is categorized as excellent. The conclusion that can be drawn from these results is that Cooperative Learning model with Talking Stick type can improve the results of integrated thematic learning of the Grade IV students at Elementary School No. 27 Kinali, West Pasaman.
