Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Kelas IV SDN 09 Pasaman Kabupaten Pasaman Barat
Abstract
This research was based on the fact that teachers in teaching integrated thematic learning less involved the real problems that exist around students, so that it has an impact on low learning outcomes, especially in the field of knowledge. This study aimed to know the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of integrated thematic learning for grade IV of SDN 09 Pasaman. This research was conducted on integrated thematic learning material Theme 9 “Kayanya Negeriku” Subtheme 1 “Kekayaan Sumber Energi di Indonesia” Lesson 1. The type of this research is quantitative with experimental method and the design is quasi-experimental in the form of the non-equivalent pretest-postet control group design. The sampling technique was carried out using probability-sampling, the type of cluster random sampling. Based on the sampling technique, class IVD was chosen as the experimental class and class IVA as the controling class. The instrument used in data collection is a multiple-choice test. The data tested came from the posttest average of the experimental class of 82,667 and the controling class of 75.963. After the prerequisite analysis is fulfilled, a hypothesis test is carried out using a t-test with α=0,05, obtained tcount= 2,293 and ttable= 1,674 meaning tcount>ttable then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The result of the research is that there is a significant effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model on the learning outcomes of the fourth grade integrated thematic learning at SDN 09 Pasaman.
