Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu dengan Model Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) di Kelas V SD Negeri 05 Salido Ketek

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existing problems, namely showing that teachers still dominate learning so that students are not able to think actively in integrated thematic learning and cause the low learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning. This study aims to improve thematic learning outcomes with the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Model.
This research is a classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were students in class V SD Negeri 05 Salido Ketek, totaling 21 students, 9 girls and 12 boys.
The results showed an increase. This can be seen from the results of the observation of the RPP cycle I an average of 86.10% with qualification (B), increasing in cycle II to 97.22% with qualification (SB). The implementation of learning activities for teachers in cycle I averaged 81.42% with qualification (B) increasing in cycle II to 87.5% with qualification (B). In the first cycle, the average student activity was 81.24% with qualification (B) and increased in the second cycle to 87.5% with qualification (B). In the first cycle student learning outcomes an average of 75.20 with qualification (C) increased in the second cycle to 89.76 with qualification (B).
Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) Cooperative Model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V Elementary School.
