Abstract

Development research is motivated by the potential and problems with the development of primary school education in the use of learning media in the learning process. This is indicated by the results of the researcher's observations where the school where the researcher conducts the research still uses conventional teaching methods and does not utilize the existing facilities in the school in the learning process. This is the attention of researchers and learning media is needed that can be used by the school in the learning process and can maximize the existing facilities in the school. So it is necessary to develop learning media based on the potential development of media utilization based on the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application. The research seeks to find out how the development of learning media based on the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application on student learning outcomes in the learning material "The Perimeter and Area of a Square, Rectangle and Triangle and the Relationship between the Power of Two and the Root of the Power of Two in Grade IV Elementary School. This study uses a research and development (R&D) methodology, with a 4-D model development procedure (four-D models). The results of the media validity test obtained 89.14% results in the very valid category. The material aspect validity test obtained 93.33% in the very valid category and the language validity test obtained 91.42% in the very valid category. The conclusion of this research is that the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application media that was developed meets the criteria of being very valid, practical and effective and suitable for use in the learning process.
