Meningkatkan Keterampilan Vokasional Membuat Coffe Bean Cookies Melalui Media Video Tutorial Bagi Anak Tunarungu

Abstract

The background of this study began when the researcher conducted a preliminary study at the Takengon junior high school students with special needs, the researcher observed the skill activities conducted were, including the vocational skills of making Coffee Bean Cookies for deaf children in class IX. From the results of the assessment, the children had some difficulties in making Coffee Bean Cookies. The purpose of this study is to improve vocational skills in making Coffee Bean Cookies using video tutorial media. The data collection technique used was a test, with a data collection tool in the form of an action test instrument. The research approach used was the Single Subject Research (SSR) with the A-B-A research design. The analysis technique used is visual analysis in conditions and between conditions. The results of data analysis proved that vocational skills in making Coffee Bean Cookies increased after being given the help of video tutorial media with a mean level ratio of 38% to 85%. The trend of direction increases in the condition of giving intervention. It can be concluded that the video tutorial media can improve vocational skills in making Coffe Bean Cookies.
