Abstrak

This internship research was conducted at PT. Rimba Kencana Abadi, a wood manufacturing company producing veneer, plywood, and sawmill products. This study aims to analyze ergonomic risk levels at several workstations using the Quick Exposure Checklist (QEC) method. Data were collected through direct observation and questionnaires distributed to workers at 12 workstations. The results showed that most workstations had moderate to high ergonomic risk levels, with exposure levels above 50% and reaching more than 90% in several work areas such as wood unloading and cutting stations. The most common complaints experienced by workers were back pain, neck pain, and wrist discomfort. Therefore, ergonomic improvements such as workstation redesign, lifting aids, and proper work posture training are recommended to reduce musculoskeletal disorder risks and improve work productivity.
