Di Indonesia infrastruktur utilitas seperti kabel listrik, pipa-pipa air bersih, ataupun infrastruktur komunikasi (fibre optic), ditempatkan disisi kanan dan kiri jalan raya, dan melibatkan banyak pemangku kepentingan (pemerintah daerah dan perusahaan utilitas). Paper ini akan mengidentifikasi permasalahan interface diantara pemangku kepentingan dalam pekerjaan konstruksi utilitas di jalan raya. Ini adalah sebuah penelaahan literatur yang bertujuan untuk memahami dan mengenal interface di antara pemangku kepentingan yang mengakibatkan terjadinya masalah pada saat pelaksanaan konstruksi. Berdasar dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya di Indonesia, yang memperlihatkan 15 masalah interface yang dibagi ke dalam lima aspek berdasarkan kesamaan dari masing-masing masalah. Paper ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab terjadinya masalah interface di jalan raya Kota Langsa dengan menjelaskan faktor penyebab masalah interface menggunakan metode deskriptif dan menjabarkannya menggunakan pendekatan multi-perspektif. Hasil penelaahan ini berupa akar penyebab masalah interface yang dapat digunakan oleh otoritas jalan raya dalam melakukan perencanaan pekerjaan sehingga dapat menghindari konflik yang mungkin terjadi di antara pelaksana kegiatan di lapangan.
