Abstract

Mathematics is one of the subjects that are considered difficult and less desirable at every level of education, especially in elementary school education, because there are still many students who do not understand the concepts of mathematics lessons, so to make learning as expected, a learning model is needed. right. The model used in the learning process is one of the determining factors for the success of learning. Creative and innovative learning models can be used by teachers in the learning process, one of which is the Project Based Learning Model. The Project Based Learning model is one of the models used in the learning process by involving students directly to complete a task in the form of a project to produce a product. This study is a literature study or library research which aims to determine that the Project Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning in elementary schools. In this study, the researcher first formulates a research problem then continues by exploring existing and relevant research for analysis. The data collection method in this study uses the documentation method, which is looking for and extracting data from the literature related to the problem formulation. Several studies have shown that the Project Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics lessons in elementary schools.
