Abstract

This research is motivated by the absence of electronic modules developed by teachers themselves in the learning process. This is due to the lack of teachers' ability to take advantage of currently developing technology. Based on the results of the researcher's interview with the fourth grade teacher at SDN 01 Baringin Anam, the teacher only used the integrated thematic teacher's book and student's book. In the learning process in delivering material the teacher uses the lecture method and writes on the blackboard. To overcome this, it is necessary to develop an electronic module. This research produces a Thematic E-Module Based on Problem Based Learning Using the Flip PDF Professional Application on Theme 7 in Grade IV Elementary School which is valid and practical. This research belongs to the type of Research & Development research. The development model used is 4-D (four-D). According to Sugiyono (2016) the stages of the 4-D model are: define, design, develop and disseminate. Data collection techniques used validation sheets, teacher response questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The electronic module developed was tested for validity by three experts, namely media experts, material experts and linguists. Practicality tests were conducted at SDN 01 Baringin Anam and SDN 14 Salo. The results of the research from the developed e-module obtained an average validation of 96% with a very valid category. The results of the trial at SDN 01 Baringin Anam were stated to be very practical, judging by the results of the teacher's response, namely 97.9% in the very practical category and the results of the trial at SDN 14 Salo being stated to be very practical, judging by the results of the teacher's response, namely 95.8%. Based on the results of the questionnaire responses, students of SDN 01 Baringin Anam obtained 97.26% results and SDN 14 Salo obtained 99.5% results in the very practical category.
