Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of students' integrated thematic learning outcomes using the Take and Give model in class VB of SD Negeri 01 Tangah, Agam Regency. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with qualitative and quantitative approaches. The subjects of this study were teachers and 20 students of Class VB Negeri 01 Tangah, Agam Regency. The results showed an increase in the RPP cycle I with an average of 86.11% and cycle II 94.44%. The results of the implementation of learning activities of teachers in cycle I with an average of 85.71% and cycle II 92.85%, and student activities in cycle I with an average of 78.57%, and cycle II 92.85%, student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average of 76.51 and the second cycle with an average of 83.21. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Take and Give model can improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class VB Negeri 01 Tangah, Agam Regency.
