Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Keterampilan Mencuci Sepeda Motor Bagi Anak Tunagrahita Ringan Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 Di SLBN 1 Solok
Abstract
This research was motivated by the problems found regarding the implementation of motorbike washing skills for children with mild mental retardation during the Covid-19 pandemic at SLBN 1 Solok. Mentally retarded children are children who have obstacles such as intelligence, difficulty understanding abstract things, forgetting quickly and others. Researchers observed that this school is one of the schools that organizes skills activities, one of which is motorbike washing skills. This study aims to determine the implementation of motorbike washing skills for mild mentally retarded children during the Covid-19 pandemic at SLB N Solok. The method in this study is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this research is that the implementation of motorcycle washing skills learning is going well. The inhibiting factor for the implementation of motorbike washing skills is due to the Covid-19 pandemic, children are more often online than face to face and for facilities because it is carried out in open spaces, children often feel hot and get bored quickly, the solution to the inhibiting factor is to provide a special room for washing motorbikes and time a full day for children to learn to easily understand the steps presented
