Analisis Faktor Penyebab Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus Putus Sekolah Di Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok

Abstract

This study describes the analysis of the factors that cause students with special needs to drop out of school in thev Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok. Based on the results of observations that the researchers found that in Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok, there were 4 students with special needs who dropped out of school. The author disguised the child's name as TN, AZ, RR, FA. They are students who previously attended the SLB Berkah Annisa in Nagari Paninjauan. However, after a few years they went to SLB Berkah Annisa they did not continue school and stopped attending school. In almost every place, many children are unable to continue their education due to several reasons, so this study aims to describe external factors and internal factors that cause students with special needs to drop out of school.This research approach is a qualitative approach, with the aim of producing an analysis of the factors causing students with special needs to drop out of school in the Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok, which was obtained through observation, interviews, field notes, documentation and others. This research was conducted in August 2021 with the research subject of students with special needs dropping out of school.The results obtained are the factors that cause students with special needs to drop out of school in the Kecamatan X Koto Diatas Kabupaten Solok Regency are internal factors that come from within students which consist of interest in learning and schools that are considered unattractive by students. While external factors consist of a low family economy, lack of parental attention so that they do not pay attention to the education of students, peers, and the distance from home to school.
