Abstract

 

 

This study intends to develop information technology-based learning media and create the latest products according to the times. The type of research that will be used in this research is abbreviated as R&D. This R&D research is an effort or activity to develop an effective product to use (Erita, Y., & Hamimah, AA 2020). Using the ADDIE Model consists of five phases: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results described in this study are 1) the use of the Powtoon on theme 8 sub-theme 1 learning 3 in fifth grade elementary school applies in elementary schools with an average score of material validation getting 90%, language validation results getting a value of 88%, and media validation getting a value of 85% with a very valid category and suitable for use. 2) Teacher and student responses to the media used, with teacher responses at SDN 09 ATB 100% and teacher responses at SDN 26 ATT 89%, after that student responses to the media that researchers developed were at SDN 09 ATB 87.19% and at SDN 26 ATT 93.57%. 3) The media is declared effective after the validity test is confirmed from the results of the percentage of students' integrity scores with a percentage of 83.48%. These results illustrate that the developed learning media is effectively used in the learning process in the classroom.
