Peningkatan Proses Belajar Tematik Terpadu Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation di Kelas V SDN 28 Koto Marapak Pesisir Selatan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class V SDN 28 Koto Marapak Pesisir Selatan. This study uses the 2013 curriculum where the expected learning outcomes have not been achieved with the ideal class completion percentage of 70%. The purpose of this study is to describe the application of the Group Investigation Type Cooperative model in integrated thematic learning to improve student learning outcomes in class V SDN 28 Koto Marapak Pesisir Selatan Regency. This type of research is classroom action research, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research procedure consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were class V students of SDN 28 Koto Marapak Pesisir Selatan Regency. The results of the study showed an increase in: a) RPP in cycle I obtained an average of 88% (B), increased in cycle II obtained a percentage of 94% (SB), b) teacher activity in cycle I obtained an average of 83.5% (B), increased in cycle II obtained a percentage of 94% (SB), c) student activity in cycle I obtained an average of 83.5% (B), increased in cycle II obtained a percentage of 94% (SB), and d) student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average value of 76 (C), increased in cycle II obtained an average value of 90 (SB). For the assessment of student attitudes in cycle I there were 3 people with positive attitudes and 3 people with negative attitudes. Cycle II there were 3 people with positive attitudes. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that integrated thematic learning using the C Cooperative Group Investigation Type model can improve the learning outcomes of class V students of SDN 28 Koto Marapak Pesisir Selatan.
