Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the role of the family and school environment in shaping and developing children's motivation, morals, and personality at the elementary school level. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various national and international scientific sources in the last five years. The results of the study indicate that the family environment has a major influence in the formation of children's moral and personality foundations through parenting, communication, and role models. Meanwhile, schools act as a second social environment that strengthens children's moral values and motivation through interactions with teachers and peers, as well as the implementation of a character-based curriculum. Harmonious collaboration between families and schools has been proven to be able to create an environment that supports children's holistic growth and development. This finding emphasizes the importance of synergy between the two environments in supporting the success of character education in elementary school children.
