Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Tematik Terpadu Menggunakan Model Discovery Learning di Kelas IV SDN 07 Sungai Beremas Kabupaten Pasaman Barat

Abstract

This research is motivated by the reality on the ground that shows the low learning outcomes of students in thematic learning integrated. This is because the teacher has not used a learning model that precise and varied. This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning using Discovery Learning model in grade IV SD Negeri 07 Sungai Beremas Regency West Pasaman. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Executed in two cycle. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research are teachers and students class IV SD Negeri 07 Sungai Beremas totaling 31 people. Instrument The research used were observation sheets, tests and non-tests. The results of the study indicate planning, implementation and learning outcomes students increase. The results of the observation of RPP in the first cycle 80.5% with qualification (B) has increased in the second cycle with a percentage of 94.4% qualification (A). The results of observations on the activities of the first cycle teacher 81.25% qualification (B) experienced an increase in the second cycle with a percentage of 93.8% qualification (A). The results of observations on the activities of students in the first cycle 81.25% qualification (B) experienced an increase in the second cycle with a percentage of 93.8% qualification (A). Results students' learning in the first cycle obtained an average of 78.71 with qualifications (C), experienced an increase in the second cycle with an average of 90.65 with qualification (A). It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve learning outcomes students in integrated thematic learning in elementary schools.
