This study aims to examine and explore various sources of problems in the research on the implementation of the basic learning problem model in elementary schools. The method of writing this article is in the form of literature studies with data sources from various reference books and the results of similar previous research and books, which are relevant to the discussion of research problems. Based on the results of the analysis of 25 articles, it is concluded that the problems raised and found in studies using the problem-based learning model are mostly sourced from teachers and are more focused on improving teacher teaching methods than on fixing problems that exist in students or students, in addition There is a study that focuses on teachers and students, with details of 19 research problems originating from the teacher, 14 research problems originating from students, and 8 of which the problems originate from teachers and students.
