Abstract

This research background backs by the problems found in the field, there are two children have difficulty da lam study, these issues d itemukan in SLB Salsabilla Indah Ampang child is having difficulty in reading the two tribes said . This study aims to improve the ability to read words through playing clothespins for children with mild mental retardation in SLB Salsabilla Indah Ampang . The method of research that is used is classroom action research which consists of II cycles with four meetings. This research was conducted in collaboration with class teachers. The cycle is carried out in several stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting . Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews and tests . The tests are in the form of oral and written tests to see the children's ability to say and show words. These results were obtained through the research data that has been analyzed, the results of this study indicate that the ability to read words in mildly mentally disabled children increases through playing clotheslin.
