Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Penyajian Data Dengan Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia Di Sekolah Dasar

Abstrak

This research was motivated by problems in the implementation of learning that led to low learning outcomes of students of grade IV State Elementary School 200408 Pokenjior Padangsidimpuan City. The purpose of this study is to expand the improvement of learning outcomes of data presentation materials in the form of bar diagrams with the indonesian realistic mathematics education approach in grade IV SDN 200408 Pokenjior Kota Padangsidimpuan. This research is a class action research (PTK) using quantitative and qualitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers and students of class IV SDN 200408 Pokenjior Kota Padangsidimpuan which amounted to 26 people. Research is carried out in two cycles that include four stages of research procedures, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research techniques and instruments are test and non-test observations. The results showed an increase in: a) RPP cycle I gained an average percentage of 91.66% (A) increased in cycle II to 97.22% (A), b) The activity of cycle I teachers gained an average percentage of 87.5% (B) increased in cycle II to 95% (A), c) The activity of cycle I learners gained an average percentage of 77.5% (C) increased in cycle II to (92.5%) (A), d) The learning outcomes of cycle I learners obtain an average learning outcome of 75.5 (B) then increase in cycle II to 83.89 (B). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Education (PMRI) approach can improve learners' learning outcomes in data presentation materials in the form of bar diagrams.
