Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Perkalian dan Pembagian Pecahan Di Kelas V SD Negeri 21 Payakumbuh

Abstrak

This reseach was based on the fact that teacher is teaching mathematic learning less involved the real problems that exist around students, so that it has an impact on low learning outcomes, especially in the field of knowledge. This study aimed to know the effect of the Problem Based Learning on the learning outcomes of multiplication and division of fractions for grade V of SD Negeri 21 Payakumbuh. The type of this reseach is quantitative with experimental method and the design is quasi experimental in the form of the Non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique was carried out using Non Probability Sampling with method Purposive Sampling. Based on the sampling technique, class VB was chosen as the experimental class and class VC as the controlling class. The instrument used in data collection is an essay test. The data tested came from the posttest average of the experimental class of 77 and controlling class of 57,32. After the prerequisite analysis is fulfilled, a hypothesis test is carried out using a t-test with significance level is 0,05 obtained tcount > ttable that is 5,1865 > 1,677. From the results of the t-test, it means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on the calculation shows that the results of the research is that there is a significant effect of the Problem Based Learning outcomes of the multiplication and division of fractions for grade V of SD Negeri 21 Payakumbuh.
