Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Luas Bangun Datar Menggunakan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) Dikelas IV SDN 13 Kampung Kandang Kota Pariaman

Abstrak

 This research is motivated by the results of observations found in schools, namely low student learning out comes, the lack of teachers in developing learning models that make students actively involved in learning, learning is still teacher-centered or teacher centered, students are stillless active in the learning processs and lack of confidence when expressing opinions, students also lack confidence to share information with their friends. The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in student learning out comes in broad-based learning with the Cooperative Learning model of Think Pair Share type.This research was carried out using the Cooperative Learning model of Think Pair Share in grade IV SDN 13 Kampung Kandang Kota Pariaman. The subjects ofthis study were teachers and students of class IV, totaling 10 people. The approachused is a qualitative and quantitative approach. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles, the first cycle consists of 2 meetings, and these condcycle consists of 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.The results of the study showedan in crease, in the first cycle starting with the results of the preparation analysis: a) RPP showed an average of 81.7% (B) cycle I and 97.7% (SB) cycle II, b) Implementation of the teacher aspect of the cycle I average 81.7% (B) and these condcycle 96.4% (SB), while the implementation of aspects of students in the first cycle an average of 81.7% (B), and the second cycle to 92.8% (SB) ), c) Assessment of student learning out comes in the first cycleobta in edanaverage of 76.8% and these condcycle an average of 81.17%. Based on thes eresults, It can be concluded that the Think Pair Share model can improve student learning out comes in broad-based learning.
