Implementasi E-Learning pada LMS sebagai Media Pembelajaran Interaktif di SMKN 1 Slawi

Abstract

The advancement of information technology in the digital era has significantly impacted the education sector, including Vocational High Schools. One notable innovation is the use of LMS to support online learning. SMK Negeri 1 Slawi has adopted Moodle LMS as an interactive learning medium to promote educational digitalization, particularly in the Computer and Network Engineering department. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Moodle LMS, its supporting and inhibiting factors, and user perceptions. A qualitative approach was employed, involving interviews, observations, and surveys. The findings reveal that Moodle LMS effectively facilitates learning through features such as assignment submissions, online quizzes, and discussion forums. Teachers and students expressed positive perceptions of the platform, although its adoption is not yet consistent across all subjects. Challenges include limited student access to devices, unstable internet connections, and insufficient teacher training. Supporting factors include teacher awareness of technology's importance, easy access to learning materials, and available infrastructure. It is recommended to enhance LMS training for both teachers and students and to improve technological infrastructure at the school. These efforts are expected to optimize the use of Moodle LMS as an interactive learning medium and improve the quality of education at SMK Negeri 1 Slawi.
