F.A.Q

1. Can I still submit a manuscript this month?
The J-ICOM Journal (Journal of Informatics and Computer Technology) accepts manuscripts 24/7, 7 days a week, without restrictions. The publication schedule depends on the results of reviews and the editor's decision. The sooner you submit, the better.

2. How long does it take to publish in the J-ICOM journal?
Every submitted manuscript will go through a review process: 1. Review by the editor, 2. Review by at least 2 or 3 competent reviewers. Both processes depend heavily on the time availability of the editor and reviewers, as well as the communication between the author and editor during the review process.

3. Can my manuscript be published immediately, as this is a requirement for my approval?
This is a question to avoid asking the editor. Simply follow the journal's business processes. Questions like this will force the editor to be more thorough in processing the author's manuscript. Therefore, these questions will indirectly disadvantage the author.

4. Can I submit a manuscript via email?
The J-ICOM journal's management, from author submission to publication, is entirely web-based. This also helps authors track the progress of their manuscripts in real time and engage in discussions with editors directly through the journal website. We do not accept submissions via email.

5. Avoid asking/requesting the editor to process your manuscript as quickly as possible. Processing submitted manuscripts is the editor's responsibility.

6. Avoid asking when my article will be accepted and published, as this depends heavily on the outcome of the review process by the editor and reviewers.

7. When will a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) be issued? A LOA can be requested after the manuscript has been accepted by the editor and meets the requirements for publication, not at the time of submission.
