Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

A. General Requirements

  1. The manuscript must be an original research article, case study, or critical literature review relevant to applied engineering fields.

  2. Manuscripts must be unpublished and not under review elsewhere.

  3. Manuscripts can be written in Indonesian or English.

  4. Authors must use the journal's official template ([download the template here]).

B. Manuscript Structure

  • Title: Clear, concise, and reflective of the article's content (maximum 15 words).

  • Author(s) and Affiliation: Full names without academic titles, institutional affiliation, and corresponding author's email.

  • Abstract: Maximum 250 words, written in Indonesian and English.

  • Keywords: 3–5 relevant words or phrases.

  • Introduction: Background, research problem, and objectives.

  • Research Methods: Description of methods, tools, and procedures used.

  • Results and Discussion: Presented clearly and analytically.

  • Conclusion: Main findings and potential developments.

  • Acknowledgments (optional): If necessary.

  • References: Minimum 15 references, 80% from primary sources within the last 10 years.

C. Technical Requirements

  • Document format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx).

  • Paper size: A4, normal margins.

  • Font: Times New Roman 11 pt, 1.15 line spacing.

  • Figures and Tables: Numbered with titles and sources indicated.

  • Citation style: Vancouver Style or sequential numerical citations.

D. Review Process

  • All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.

  • Editors reserve the right to edit manuscripts for clarity and formatting without altering the substance.

E. Publication Fee

  • No submission fee.

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 300,000 per accepted manuscript. The APC is payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication. Please refer to the Author Fees page for details.
