https://ejurnalunsam.id/index.php/jis Jurnal Industri Samudra (JIS), e-ISSN 2797-7730, is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Industrial Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Samudra, Langsa, Aceh, Indonesia. Established in 2020, JIS is committed to publishing high-quality research papers, technical papers, conceptual papers, and case study reports that undergo a rigorous peer-review process to maintain high standards of scholarly integrity. The journal publishes two issues per year, in April and October. Since its establishment in 2020, JIS successfully published its inaugural issue (Vol. 1 No. 1) in April 2020. The journal achieved a significant milestone by securing its official e-ISSN (2797-7730) from LIPI/BRIN on May 21, 2021. To maintain high academic standard, JIS updated its author guidelines on January 1, 2021, enforcing strict reference standards (minimum 15 references with 80% primary journal articles from the last 10 years managed via Mendeley) and transparent submission history tracking. Most recently, on July 24, 2026, JIS officially achieved national accreditation rank SINTA 5 based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Decree No. 355/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026).
