Conflict of interest

Conflict of interest statements must be disclosed transparently in accordance with authors' disclosure standards. Authors are required to disclose any financial or personal relationships that could potentially introduce bias or influence the content of their manuscripts. The sources of research funding must be specified, together with details of the funders' roles. If the funders or sponsors have no specific role in the research, authors must explicitly state this. Authors must also ensure that they have full access to all research data and that the sponsors have not interfered with data processing or manuscript preparation. If no such conflicts exist, authors may include the following statement: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
