Publication Ethic
Jurnal Hukum Samudra Keadilan (JHSK) is a journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Samudra. This statement describes the ethical behaviour of all parties involved in the publication of articles in this journal, namely authors, editors-in-chief, editors, reviewers and publishers.
Duties of the publisher:
The Faculty of Law of Samudra University, as the publisher of Jurnal Hukum Samudra keadilan, is responsible and obliged to ensure that advertising, reprinting or other commercial revenues do not influence or affect the decisions of the editors. In addition, the Faculty of Law of Samudra University and the editors will assist in communicating with other journals and/or other publishers as necessary.
Editor's duties:
The editors shall be responsible for the decision as to which articles are to be published on the basis of the input from the peer reviewers. The editors may consult with the reviewers in making this decision.
Reviewer duties:
- Reviewers assist the editors in making editorial decisions and providing editorial communication to the author. The assistance provided by the reviewer concerns the content review of a manuscript/article.
- Any manuscript received for review should be treated as a confidential document. Manuscripts should not be displayed or discussed with others unless authorised by the Editor.
- Reviews must be conducted objectively with supporting arguments according to scientific principles.
Author responsibilities:
- Authors write manuscripts/articles based on accurate original research reports.
- The author should cite all references used in the manuscript according to the rules of scientific writing.
- The author must ensure that the manuscript is free of plagiarism.
- Authors must ensure that the manuscript submitted to Samudra Hukum Hukum Samudra keadilan has not been published in other media and is not currently being submitted to other journals.
- Authors must agree on the role of each contributor in the writing of the article and have agreed in advance on the writing of the main author and co-author.
- Authors will ensure that the research is conducted in accordance with the Code of Ethics.
- If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published manuscripts, they are required to notify the journal editor or publisher immediately and to work with the editor to retract or correct the manuscript.
