Acceptance for publication depends on editorial assessment, peer review where applicable, scientific quality, and compliance with the journal's requirements.

The journal considers the following types of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles
Original Research Articles report the results of original experimental, observational, or analytical studies in aquaculture and related aquatic sciences. These manuscripts must present a clear research objective, an appropriate methodology, reliable results, and a discussion supported by relevant scientific literature.
The manuscript should generally include the following sections: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion. Additional sections may be included when appropriate to the research design.

Review Articles
Review Articles provide a comprehensive and critical synthesis of published research on a specific topic within the journal's scope. They should identify major findings, evaluate existing evidence, discuss research gaps, and suggest directions for future research. Review manuscripts must demonstrate a clear approach to literature selection and analysis. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses may be considered when they follow appropriate methodological standards.

Short Communications
Short Communications present concise but significant scientific findings that warrant timely dissemination. They may report preliminary findings, focused experimental results, or specific observations that contribute meaningful new information to the field. Despite their shorter format, these manuscripts must provide sufficient methodological details and evidence to support their conclusions.

Case Studies
Case Studies describe and analyze specific cases, field experiences, or practical applications relevant to aquaculture and aquatic sciences. They should provide clear scientific or practical value, explain the methods used to examine the case, and discuss the implications of the findings.

Technical Notes
Technical Notes describe the development, modification, or evaluation of research methods, experimental techniques, equipment, analytical procedures, or practical technologies relevant to the journal's scope. The manuscript must explain the technical contribution and provide sufficient evidence to demonstrate its usefulness or performance.
